Free online notepad: no sign-up, shareable and live

Sometimes you just need somewhere to write: a quick list, a draft, a phone number someone is dictating. NoteLive is an online notepad that opens instantly in your browser, saves as you type and, if you want, lets other people write in it with you.

Why use an online notepad

• It opens in one second. No app to launch, no file to name, no "Save as…".
• It saves itself. Everything you type is saved automatically.
• It's on every device. Start on your computer, continue on your phone with the same link.
• It's shareable. Send the link and others can read and edit it with you, live.

How it works

1. Go to notelive.app/new. A blank note opens with its own address.
2. Type or paste. There's no save button: it's saved as you go.
3. To share it, press "Copy link" and send it. Whoever opens it sees your text and can edit at the same time.

Features

• Plain-text editor with a clean, distraction-free layout and dark mode.
• Up to 100,000 characters per note.
• Real-time collaboration with no overwritten text.
• Works offline and syncs when the connection comes back.
• No account, no email, no install.

Free and Pro

The free notepad is perfect for quick, temporary notes: each note is deleted 24 hours after it's created, and the free plan shows ads. If you want your notes to last, NoteLive Pro (€5/month) keeps them forever, lists them all in your account and removes ads.
