Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data NoteLive (https://notelive.app) processes, why, and what rights you have. We try to collect as little as possible.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Andrés Felipe García Cardona, DNI 54691765L, Calle de Francisco Silvela, 110. Planta 2. 28002. Madrid, based in Spain. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to legal@reminte.com.
2. What data we process
If you use NoteLive without an account
- The content of your notes. Whatever you write is stored on our servers so it can be synced and shown to anyone who has the link. Do not write personal or sensitive information in a note: anyone with its URL can read and edit it.
- Technical data. Your IP address is used in memory to apply abuse limits (connections and notes per hour). We don't store it in our database. Our hosting provider may keep it in its server logs for a short period for security and operation.
- Language preference. A
langcookie remembers the language you chose.
If you create an account (Pro plan)
- Your email address, used to send you login links and identify your account.
- Subscription data: plan status, renewal date and the customer ID assigned by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details: payments are handled by Stripe.
- Which notes belong to you, so they don't expire and appear in "My account".
Advertising (free plan)
On the free plan we show ads from Google AdSense next to the editor. Google may use cookies and similar technologies, and may process the address of the page you're viewing and your IP address, to show and measure ads and, if you consent, to personalize them. See our cookie policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
3. Why we use it and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Providing the service: storing and syncing notes, accounts, Pro subscription | Performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b) |
| Preventing abuse and keeping the service secure | Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f) |
| Advertising cookies and personalized ads | Consent (art. 6.1.a), given through the consent banner and withdrawable at any time |
| Limited ads without advertising cookies, if you don't consent | Legitimate interest in funding the free plan (art. 6.1.f) |
| Keeping billing records | Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c) |
4. How long we keep it
- Free notes are permanently deleted 24 hours after they're created.
- Pro notes are kept while your subscription is active. If it ends, they're deleted 24 hours later.
- Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.
- Billing records are kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally between 4 and 6 years).
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use these providers, who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:
- Render (hosting, servers in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Supabase (database and login, servers in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Stripe (payments and subscriptions).
- Resend (sending login emails).
- Google (AdSense advertising on the free plan).
Some of these companies are based in the United States. When data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it's protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format, by writing to legal@reminte.com. If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Notes created without an account aren't linked to any identity, so we can't tell which notes are yours. If you need one removed before it expires, send us its URL.
7. Children
NoteLive isn't intended for children under 14. You must be at least 14 to create an account.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If the changes are significant, we'll let account holders know by email.
